Group Piano Lessons
Starting at age 6
 
Small group piano classes provide excellent instruction with the added fun and motivation that comes from making music with friends. It is my experience that students will work harder to please their friends in piano class than they will for a teacher at a private lesson!  Children who learn in group classes have been shown to continue with piano far longer than when taught one-on-one.  They become better ensemble players, are relaxed performers and have excellent sight reading skills.  Piano classes are small - 2 to 4 students.  Students are grouped according to age and ability.
 

Registration Fee:  A fee of $30 is due upon registration.  This covers the cost of curriculum materials for one semesters and holds a place for your child in one of my piano classes.

Tuition:  $60 per month September through July.

Length of Course:  Piano classes are 30 to 45 minutes long depending on the size of the class.  Classes begin in September and end in July.  Tuition will be prorated for students enrolling after classes begin in September.

Music:  Students are taught from The Mayron Cole Piano Method – the country’s leading group piano method.  These all-in-one Method Books teach students to read music easily and count rhythms accurately.  Special music theory games and sequenced accompaniment discs make learning fun at piano class.

*If additional supplementary music is needed it will be added to your bill when issued.

Practicing:   Each child enrolled will need a piano at home to practice their weekly assignments.
 


Blast Off With Piano! classes are taught during the summer months for new students.
 
 
 

Private Piano Lessons

  


 

Private lessons are available by audition for all ages including adults.
 
Tuition:  $70 per month for 30 minute private lessons
 $96 per month for 45 minute private lessons
 

Length of Course:  Weekly lessons are 30 or 45 minutes depending on the level and ability of the student.  Students are allowed to progress at their own rate.  Lessons begin in September and end in July.  Tuition will be prorated for students enrolling after lessons begin in September. 

Music:  Lesson books and materials will be purchased by the parent as needed.  Any additional music may be purchased by the teacher and added to your bill when issued.

 Practicing:   Each child enrolled will need a piano at home to practice their weekly assignments.
