Our Time

Kindermusik Our Time introduces your child to a joyful, nurturing, musical world filled with opportunities to build characteristics related to successful learning in school: self-confidence, curiosity, social skills and problem solving. Research shows that early rhythmic competency is strongly correlated to early academic success in school. Musical activities stimulate more areas of the brain than any other type of activity!

In the engaging small group classes, singing and imitating sounds help build language skills. Creative movement to various musical moods develops a sense of balance, timing and spatial awareness. Listening and turn-taking activities encourage blossoming social skills. Music and movement story-time encourages

emergent literacy, and musical instrument and object exploration encourage creativity and problem solving.

Parents: Your child’s ability to feel, cope with and express his emotions is developing at this age. The activities in Kindermusik Our Time address the emotional characteristics and tendencies of this stage that is sometimes called the “rubber band” stage. Activities will encourage your child to be creative and to initiate his own ideas, while your active participation will give him the security he needs.

Materials: Kindermusik Our Time At Home materials include two CDs featuring the music, songs, sounds, and rhymes from class, two storybooks featured in the lessons, a Home Activity Guide giving you ideas for more Kindermusik fun together at home, and a specially designed instrument all to encourage self-directed play and the experimentation introduced in pre-school.

Tuition and Materials: $170

Kindermusik Our Time is presented in four, 12-week sessions.

Classes meet for 40 – 45 minutes once a week.
Enroll ANYTIME during the session. Tuition will be prorated.
