For children 2 to 3 1/2 with parent or caregiver and
3 1/2 to 5 years parents attend last 10 minutes

ABC Music & Me is an all new award-winning music enrichment program. It’s created by Kindermusik International, the world’s most trusted brand in musical learning.
Research shows that music improves your child’s memory, cognitive development, learning skills and ability to express emotion. Music makes your child a better learner, teaches self-control, improves coordination, enhances creativity, and inspires your child with a lifelong appreciation of music and movement. Plus, it’s fun!

Your 2 to 4 year old: In ABC Music & Me, that busy brain and non-stop body move, make music, listen,
learn, and get a multisensory workout! Lessons emphasize different areas of your child’s development:
confidence, coordination, vocal expressiveness, careful listening, and early exposure to reading skills.

Your 4 to 6 year old: A more physically coordinated learner and eager, abstract thinker, your child is engaged with different musical styles and cultures in ABC Music & Me. Lessons center more on musical education and include an introduction to notation, new instruments, and music vocabulary, as well as keyboard exploration.

At each class, your child is involved in musical experiences including creative movement, focused listening, learning how to keep the beat to music, singing, exploring instruments and more. It’s musical learning made fun!

Home Kits: Each child enrolled in ABC Music & Me will receive a Home Kit with each unit containing a full color Family Guide filled with activities to do together at home, and a CD with all the songs, rhymes, and stories from class. With ABC Music & Me Home Kit materials you can continue the learning at home.

Tuition and Materials: $120

ABC Music & Me is presented in four, 10-week sessions.
Classes meet for 40 - 45 minutes once a week in the studio setting.

How can music prepare my child for Kindergarten? During the preschool years, children learn to “tune out” much of the visual, auditory, and physical stimulus they encounter. Positive experiences with music teach children to “tune in” – practicing focused attention and discriminating sounds.

Why is music such a great teaching tool? Music stimulates the brain, forging neural pathways in all domains of learning: cognitive, emotional, social, and physical. Your child’s entire brain is involved when he or she participates in music and movement activities.

Will this help my child learn music? ABC Music & Me provides experiences that build foundational music skills that will serve your child no matter what level of music education he or she is involved in later, be it piano lessons, singing in a choir, or enjoying a concert from the audience.
